I'm sorry, but if UTA can upgrade from a freaking old theater stage to a first-class arena, so can we!

No more excuses, get it done. Even Dr. Romo declared the Convo as: "The ugliest building on Earth".

And media facilities. We got slammed last year for making a teams radio team use a fold-up table along the fence line.

    Yup that was very embarrassing.

look at teams like New Mexico- they have a gorgeous basketball facility. Same with Cal St, Dayton, Grand Canyon U, and so on. There's a huge list. I say completely renovate the Convo or build a facility near by. Same with baseball. Have those projects done at the same time. That a lone would help beautifi our campus. A nice cool bb arena & baseball field.

You are correct about New Mexico but you don't have to go outside San Antonio for superior facilities for basketball and baseball. You only have to go to St.Mary's.

CFE Arena like the one Central Florida has would be a nice home court for UTSA

That's really nice. I don't think UTSA needs the "luxury boxes" but they would be a nice to have. Cost $107M to build it 10 years ago; in today's money $126M.

Yeah box suites arent necessary...UTSA could do with a 5000 seat arena, but wouldn't hurt for a few extra thousand seats
