Default 2018 NFL Draft in Dallas

With the draft coming to Texas next year, is anyone planning on going? Would be cool to be there when Davenport gets selected.

That would be cool. Don’t know the first thing about trying to get tickets.

I don't think they've announced anything about tickets yet. Previous drafts have had ticket lotteries where you have to enter for a chance to get them, but with 100k+ seats, it may be a different process this time around. Hotels are already sold out anywhere near the stadium, but there are still some decent options within the Metroplex.

The ticket lottery is officially open. Here's some more information on the process.

The NFL will make at least 20,000 free tickets available to the public for each of the three days of its April 26-28 draft hosted by the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium. It has established a website -- NFL.com/FanMobilePass -- where fans can begin registering Tuesday for a ticket distribution lottery.

Each lottery winner will be permitted to bring one guest into the stadium.

The estimated 20,000 tickets available to the public on the draft's first day in Arlington and the more than 20,000 on the second and third days greatly exceeds the approximately 4,000 tickets that were available daily inside auditoriums in Philadelphia and Chicago the last three years. New York's Radio City Music Hall, which previously had been the draft's quasi-permanent home, accommodated 6,000 fans.

The Thursday proceedings, which includes only the first round of the draft, kicks off at 7 p.m. Friday's second and third rounds begin at 6 p.m. Saturday's rounds four through seven begin at 11 a.m.

Registration for the draft lottery ends March 14. The league will notify via email in late March the randomly selected winners of the seats.

No registration is required to attend related activities, including the NFL Draft Experience, in the plazas and parking lots on the east side of the stadium. However, those who don't receive notification by late March will be able to gain eligibility for any last-minute available seating by registering via a mobile app that will be introduced in the days leading up to the draft.

Details of just how the stadium will be configured for the draft have yet to be finalized.
