Knowing the CoSA, they will try to do this on the cheap and the land across from UTSA downtown belongs to the city so it wouldn't surprise me if that area is pushed for the stadium.

Having a Triple A team, especially if the owners manage to move the Rangers team from Round Rock to San Antonio, will be a huge success, imo. The Missions Double A attendance is in the same range of a number of existing Triple A franchises. Tying in with a Texas major league team should lead to a substantial increase in the number of fans who would attend games on a regular basis. That the Elmore group is moving the team without a guarantee of a new stadium would seem to support this thought since they would be years away from getting a new playing location.

One of the locations looks like Lot A of the Alamodome. There isn't enough parking as-is, so loosing Lot a would suck.

There are so many rumors floating around this deal. I get the feeling San Antonio might end up with no minor league team.

I thought the leading idea was to put the stadium where the Institute of Texas Cultures currently stands. I like the idea of something on the Northside. I have no idea where it would go but it seems like businesses and people are moving up here and would be great place to gravitate the city to

Where ever they decided to build it they need to design the stadium so that it could be expanded so that a major league baseball could use it. I know we'll probably never get a MLB team, just saying don't do it on the cheap.
