    A 10 second TV ad was shown this morning (approx 5:20) on Fox29. No voiceovers, highlights of games past with goutsa.com on the corner. The end of the ad had game information.

    Now the marquee at the Alamodome has UTSA v UH displayed, with the rowdyhead displayed on half the marquee ad.

    Hopefully, they've purchased a package of random spots (a lot cheaper than prime time ads.) Obviously, 5:20 AM is not when you want your ad to play. The early-birds are mostly people getting ready for work, and have turned the news on to 'listen' not watch. A short ad with no voiceover will not capture the audience. But it's a start. Let's see if the ad pops up in the evening. The marquee advertising the game shows that someone is paying attention to what needs to be done. All of this, plus the continuing EN coverage is a step in the right direction.

    Sinclair (KABB, CW35, WOAI) has a TV ad promoting the game broadcast. Was shown last night prior the Fox29 sports report (9:45pm). Similiar to the previous ad but with voiceover and broadcast details.

    The marketing for the UH games has not been disappointing and has been more than I expected.. There has been a report on UTSA in the media routinely and as OldTimer stated, an interview/report does more than a generic TV ad.

    I think the advertising is just fine. Especially the commercial that has my family giving Dalton Sturm a high five in the end zone!

    Maybe it's increased & I haven't seen it at 5am or 945 at night.
