Kawhi was awesome. The timing of his rise to NBA star as Duncan retired is perfect. Not to mention Duncans rising as Robinson retired. The abundance of greatness is overwhelming. We are so spoiled as Spurs fans.

We are very fortunate. I'd love for Pop to win a ring without Tim. It would cement his legacy as one of the greatest.

Spurs need to change up the roster next year. Aldridge is not working on our team. He can't be getting paid 100 million and only have 2 rebounds, 13 points & poor defense.

Being in Houston, I haven't seen the Spurs play enough times this year to comment on Aldridge, but the Spurs late in the 4th quarter and in OT looked more like Lebron's Cavaliers than they did a Popovich-coached Spurs team. Offensively, it looked like iso after iso for Kawhi. I saw very little teamwork to speak of late in the 4th and in OT.

Looking at Aldridge's stats though, he did have a bad game last night. But overall for the Spurs, he's averaging about 7.9 rebounds/game over his two seasons, which is almost the same as his career average of 8.3. He's also averaging about 17.7 points during those 2 seasons, which is a little below his 19.1 career average, but considering he's been getting about 3 minutes less playing time per game on average with San Antonio than with Portland, it makes that small gap in scoring average fade into obscurity as well. Defensively, he's averaging fewer steals per game for SA (0.55) than in his career (0.8), but also fewer turnovers and getting more blocks per game. So all said, he's rolling at about the same pace for the Spurs as he did for Portland.
