I watched some of his senior year again tonight, and I was even more impressed with his instincts. We'll see how it plays out. As with our other backs, a lot of his performance will depend on the offensive line.
Good last point OT. one thing I failed to mention in my post is that his Oline at Steele was MASSIVE. They probably had on average 55 to 70 lbs on the Vandergrift Dline. That being said... They weren't always able to push Vandergrift around and create holes big enough for Me to run thru, hence the patience and Bell references.....

I like him. I think he's going to do well for us.

Spencer Buford awarded a 4 star, will be our 1st 4 star recruit I believe.

24/7 has him listed as a mid 3-star recruit but he's currently our highest signed commit. He's also listed as a top 1000 national recruit, our second in this cycle.

If you go by the rankings and the positions that we've recruited, this is shaping up to be a very good class.

I saw that, I wonder what was the reason or reasons for the increase.

Also, read a JUCO RB will be signing tomorrow as well, Deven Boston out of Santa Ana CC. 17 TDs and over 1200 yards last season.

Good explanation here, which I quoted below:

This update largely consists of senior risers, hidden gems and names that most recruiting fans may not be familiar with. NFL Draft picks come from a lot more schools than just the blue blooded elite and we feel as though weve found a few of those second tier standouts that will be playing on Sundays in this update.

    - UTSA offensive line signee Spencer Burford-Watts: Hes got the athleticism to play offensive tackle for UTSA early in his career but his versatility is what should make head coach Frank Wilson most excited. This is a kid that is capable of helping in a number of spots immediately.
