Finally got a chance to listen.

-New Years resolution: my New Years resolution is , I'm not gonna drink anymore...but I'm not gonna drink any less.
-Super Bowl: damn commercials made me NOT get drunk.
-V Day: Cal's surprise VDay sounded like he was going to see Fifty Shades of Grey
-Schedule: 7-5 likely. 6-6 worst. 8-4 best case.
-Recruits: watch out for the Winnegan/the flash at RB and Martel at safety...just saying
    -Great job

About the Superbowl call, Pete Carroll got entirely too much criticism for it. New England was expecting the run, which is why Carroll chose to go with the quick slant. It was just a GREAT defensive play, one of the best defensive plays in Superbowl history, if you ask me. I feel the magnitude of that defensive play was overshadowed by "the call", and that Malcolm Butler isn't being given his due. Besides, Carroll has always been an aggressive play-caller by nature. He got the nickname "Big Balls Pete" while at USC for a reason. The only reason everyone is calling that such a bad decision is because one of the greatest defensive plays in history stopped it. If it had worked, he'd be lauded for its brilliance; we can't deny that either.

"Even if he gets hit in the backfield and you lose some yardage, it's easier to throw a pass when you have some room." - It's easier to throw a pass when the defense doesn't expect it. If the defense puts you into a position where they know a pass is coming, it's always gonna be harder to convert than if you catch them off-guard, whether you have a couple more yards of room or not.

"Marshawn Lynch is a beast. He's gonna get in the end zone. He's done it all year" - Fact: He took 5 handoffs from the 1-yard line during the season and found pay dirt only once.

Anyway, that's my take on it.

It's a great call if it's a TD, a WTF call if it's broken up, and a terrible call if it's intercepted. He's the head coach, all criticism is earned. Just my take.
