Man I miss San Antonio, just for the food options.

Steak-The Porter house Steak and Papasitos is legit, can't go wrong with Chama Gaucha

Fajitas-Give Me El Chapparal and Henry's Puffy Taco

Burger-Longhorn Cafe at Blanco and 1604

Seafood-Sea Island, good food, well priced and consistent

Italian-Zios for there spaghetti feast and bread, Capparellis Meatball Sandwich

    Wings-Hooters no contest

Anyone know of a good philly cheese steak place, so far hooters is my favorite, can't be the best though?

I've gone very very wrong at Chama Gaucha.

For a good Philly cheese steak go to Philly's Phamous Cheese Steaks. It's owned by former SA Spur Malik Rose.

Ate at The Lost Cajun on Hausman Rd last night. Good food so I'll definitely be back. The staff was extremely friendly and the service was great. There is a lot on the menu I want to try. They have a cool sample dish they bring out that has six items. Gumbo, chicken gumbo, red beans and rice, lobster bisque, crawfish etoufee, and something else. I may be off on some of the items but you get the point. It's just a small taste of each but it's cool. I had a platter with shrimp, fish, and oysters. 3 pcs each and fries and bread for about $16.99 I believe. They also have a bar.

I got to scratch Boudros off my bucket list last week. I had the shellfish platter which included lobster tail, scallops, shrimp, fried oysters, crawfish pot pie, crab cake and shrimp grits. It wasn't cheap at $39 but it was great. My wife had the shrimp and grits plate which I think ran about $20. They met the reputation they carry and the service was outstanding.

    It wasn't cheap?

You got an entire shelf life ecosystem for $39. That's a lot of crusty crustaceans. Not a bad bang for your buck.

Kimura on Pecan St downtown. Miso Ramen with chicken and Tonk Chasu with pork shoulder. Saw this place reviewed on a SA morning show. Small place. Pretty good service. Food was fantastic. Their exhaust system was not great so we left smelling like grease and smoke but it was worth it.
