At least I took that as more of a threat to Columbus by the owners saying you know it was more of a call for attendance or something. Otherwise I haven't heard anything more from it

    Hmm so not Miami
They are still holding a spot for Miami. They are technically team #24, with Nashville at #25 and one of Sacramento, Cincinnati or Detroit as #26. They are all supposed to join by 2020. If Miami still isn't ready by then (which seems likely) it's unknown if MLS will stay at 25 and wait, or give their spot to one of the other contenders.

RE: The Crew. If you listened to Garber during MLS Cup, it seems like he's ready for the team to leave Columbus. Basically said that the push from fans was too little, too late. Or at least that's the vibe I got from him.

Not really a shocker. Poor Dortmund always gets poached by bigger, richer clubs. If it isn't Bayern München, it's someone else. BVB just keeps rolling along though.

The draw for the reformatted CCL was on 18th. FCD will begin with Panamanian club Tauro FC, 1st leg in Panama City 2.21 and 2nd leg in Frisco the week after.

Another matchup in the round of 16 will be one of the worst teams in MLS Colorado facing the current MLS Cup champion Toronto. LOL should be good.

Also the tournament is set up so that potential quarterfinal round matchups will be MLS vs Liga MX.

Not cool in having '16 champions in '18 CCL but whatever I guess.
EDIT: I stumbled on some articles saying that US soccer and MLS will keep original four berths for even this revamped CCL in 2018. But in 2019 it will be more spread out as two of those berths will be gone in order to add berths for another season. The '19 CCL four u.s. berths will be from 2017 and '18 seasons (specifically '17 and '18 MLS Cup and US Open Cup champs). Well the 2017 MLS Cup champ is the Canadian Toronto FC. So now what. That berth will be replaced by the u.s.-based MLS team with the best aggregate record over the '17 and '18 seasons.
    LOL got all that?

SAFC: season begins 3.17 in Sacramento and then at home hosting Saint Louis (STL) the 24th. STL joined the league with us in '16 and in Western Conference. In '17 they were aligned to the east. New teams in this conference added are Las Vegas Lights FC (LVL) and Fresno FC (FRN). For only the year I believe we are losing Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2. We will play every other team in the West (16) home and away and two teams (SPR + RGV) a 3rd time for an extended (+2 from '17) 34 games.

Other schedule in blue is FCD. West (11 incl. new LAFC) × 2 + East (11) + Dynamo again = 34.

Both teams are hosting on the 4th of July.
