I took my daughter to dance class last night. Four people were wearing UTSA shirts. (Including two of the instructors.) Sweet.

Thanks! Good tune.

KSAT 12 is airing a show after the Saturday night 10 PM newscast titled "Texas Music Scene." I'm usually out and about on weekends, so I set the DVR. We'll see how it is and I'll let yall know.
I was waiting to get a haircut at a barbershop yesterday. An older lady owns the place and she's the only one that cuts hair. She was cutting the hair of a guy wearing a Spurs shirt. We all talked about the Spurs for a little bit and then I mentioned Roadrunner football. I didn't tell them at first that I was an alumnus and a huge fan. I just wanted to see what they honestly thought.
They both acted a little excited and want to go to the games. I mentioned some of the stats from last year and I was surprised that they already knew most of it. Awesome!

I have all the football fans at my office here in Houston talking about us and asking questions. It's funny how the A&M, UT, Nebraska, LSU, and Baylor alums in my office show us more love than the UTEP, UNT and txst fans lol They're impressed what we did last year in our first year.
Btw, I put up a UTSA banner in my office (along with my mini helmet!) and the girl next to me had to copy and put up a Nebraska banner. I love working with sports fans!
I spent the last 7 days on vacation in NYC. I wore my UTSA Alumni shirt once and I was always wearing my UTSA cap when walking around the city. Anyway, I had at least 5 people stop me in the Big Apple who were either from SA or went to UTSA.
I even saw a few people in the airport wearing UTSA gear.
