Doesn't effect me but it will be an inconvenient change for a lot of parents that take kids.

For guys it's a non issue, but for females and parents it could be. Although it says small clutch purses are ok, it still seems pretty vague.

I had heard that diaper bags were still accepted, so parents with small kids dont have to worry as much. Someone should fact check that though

To answer some of your questions, these are both allowed:
Bags smaller than 6”x 6”x 6”
Medically Necessary and Diaper Bags (after proper inspection)


You could also go the route of some Aggie fans I observed at our game last year. They brought bags larger than 6x6x6 but put them inside of allowable clear plastic bags, and viola, they were allowed.

What do you mean "for guys it's a non issue"? I see lots of guys wearing cinch bags into the dome. I use one to put my sunglasses, sweatshirt, etc in once inside as opposed to putting them directly on the floor.

We had to deal with it when we went to the Metallica concert last week. Not a big deal. I don't know if they are going to have the metal detectors set up for the football games like they did for the concert. But that was a bigger issue. the lines getting through them were long.

I always take a cinch bag so it will be an inconvenience. I usually have my tickets,CATI flag, cap, program, sunglasses, and other crap I may pick up that day. I got rid of all my cargo shorts in 2009. I'm never buying another pair.
