A Cinderella team has fought their way to the CWS finals. Coastal Carolina of the Big South conference eliminated TCU today to advance to the CWS finals. They will be facing Arizona this coming Monday.
Coastal Carolina eliminated both TCU and Texas Tech in the CWS tournament. They also eliminated LSU in the Super Regionals that was hosted by LSU and they also handed Florida their first loss in the CWS as well.
Coastal Carolina has defeated the best teams the Big 12 and SEC had this year. Hopefully they will have the same success over Arizona.
Coastal will be joining the Sun Belt Conference next year except for football, the football transition will be in 2017.
