      CONMEBOL: 4-2-4 (+1)
      CONCACAF: 2-0-4 (-9)
      AFC: 2-2-6 (-8)

Group A (6 6 0 0): the 6 6 & 0 0 play so the game of importance is RUS-URU. Winner wins group, draw and Russia wins group.

        Group B (4 4 3 0): A 4 3 & 4 0 play so the game of more importance is POR-IRN (4 3). Too many scenarios at play but that is the one to watch, I think.

Those should be two good games. We'll see if Suárez resorts to cannibalism again when things get tight.

              Group C (6 4 1 0): 6 4 & 1 0 play; DEN (4) could be in trouble if AUS (1) win and they lose.

Group D (6 3 1 1): 6 1 & 3 1 play; hmm still many scenarios could go on for this group cuz everyone is still alive. ARG (1 in 3 1) can advance if they win.

Argentina doesnt deserve to go to the next round the way they have been playing.

                  Wow Argentina, good show.
6 UEFA and 2 South American. Who would have thunk that?

                    Group E (4 4 3 0): 4 0 & 4 3 play; hmm I really don't care much for this group.

                    Group F (6 3 3 0) 6 3 & 3 0 play; I guess I'd just like to see a Concacaf presence in the Knockout stage.

Germany has been knocked out, first time since 1936 that they are not making it out of the group stage.

And Brazil needs a result or they are out.. Can you imagine a world cup without Brazil, or Germany in the knock out stages? Been a crazy WC..

Gotta correct you. First time EVER Germany didn't make it out of the group stage. There was no World Cup in 1936. There was a World Cup in 1938 though, but there was no group stage. Only 16 teams qualified, and it automatically went to a 16-team knockout tournament. Germany didn't make it to the quarters that year as they lost their round-of-16 game, but there was no group stage.

I'm absolutely shocked. Even though 4 of the last 5 World Cup champions have now bowed out in the group stage in their next World Cup, I never dreamed it would happen to Germany. We've been the most consistent team in World Cup history, making it to at least the semis in each of the last 4 World Cups, winning our group in the last 7 consecutive World Cups, and finishing in the top four a record 13 times. We played poorly from the first whistle against Mexico though to the final whistle against Korea. Dominated possession in every game we played, but had no ability to finish in the final third.

I'll be pulling for Colombia the rest of the way.

Ok, I'll make sure to pass on your information to the European Announcers that made that statement.

That would be difficult, but yeah, they apparently didn't do their homework. lol
